Aerosol Smoke/CO Dispenser (SOLO330-001)
A trusted essential for fire system professionals worldwide, the Solo 330 Aerosol Dispenser is specifically designed to perform accurate, controlled functional testing of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Whether used at ceiling height with Solo access poles or for low-level testing, the Solo 330 delivers efficiency, safety, and precision.
This lightweight, transparent testing cup holds the aerosol test canister and ensures the test gas is released only where it’s needed—right at the detector head—without overspray or wastage.
Key Features:
- Industry-Standard Testing Tool: Fundamental to smoke detector testing for professionals globally, the Solo 330 ensures compliant and effective functional testing.
- Universal Fit for Most Detectors: Designed to accommodate a wide variety of smoke and CO detectors up to 100mm (4") in diameter, making it one of the most versatile options in the market.
- Safe Testing at Any Height: Compatible with Solo access poles, allowing for safe, ladder-free testing of detectors on high ceilings. Equally effective for detectors installed at accessible levels.
- Spring-Loaded Suspension System: Ideal for suspended ceiling environments, the spring-loaded design maintains gentle but firm contact with the detector during testing.
- Swing Frame Design: Enables angled or offset application, perfect for use in confined or awkward ceiling spaces where direct vertical access isn’t possible.
- Transparent Test Cup: The clear dome offers direct visibility of the detector’s LED indicators during testing, allowing for quick and confident verification of activation.
- Lightweight and Ergonomic: Compact and easy to operate with one hand, reducing user fatigue during repetitive testing.
- Approved by Detector Manufacturers: Tested and approved for use by major detector manufacturers, ensuring compatibility and preserving warranty compliance.

Aerosol Smoke and CO Dispenser
The Solo 330 works with the Solo A5 and Solo A10 aerosols to deliver compliant testing of smoke detectors. The dispenser is placed over the detector to conserve smoke during testing, this reduces wasted smoke and helps ensure a fast and reliable test.
The Solo 330 can also be used with the Solo C3 aerosol to test CO fire detectors.
